The Rite of Voltreus
Voltreus formed in San Antonio in 2020. Their sound blends deathcore, nu metal, metalcore, and psychological elements into what they describe as psycore.
The band’s early release, Solace (2021), came before the visual identity and live rituals fully took shape. Over time, Voltreus evolved into something more deliberate, combining immersive performances, recurring symbolism, and a growing world surrounding the music.
Tracks like MALiCE lean further into that atmosphere, while KITH & KIN introduced the name tied to the people who choose Voltreus back. The KITH & KIN are not separated from the experience. They become part of it.
Throughout Voltreus’ visual world, each member appears both in and out of character through recurring identities tied to the themes and atmosphere surrounding the project.
Voltreus treats live performance as something shared between the band and the audience rather than observed from a distance.
