Biography
The name 'Voltreus' was created by putting two Latin words together, similarly to the way scientific names are made for animals. The combination translates to "rise to be king".
The band was formed in early 2020, but didn't play live until mid-2021 due to COVID-19 concerns. After gaining quick momentum, Voltreus' first release was on September 3, 2021 with their EP 'Solace'. Since then, Voltreus has continued to cultivate their own sound that sets them apart from the rest. Other than music, Voltreus prides itself on its charity events and community give back.
The dream of Voltreus has always been to bring important messages to their audiences and include them in their journey. With a 4 person crew, the band considers their fans a 5th Member and attempts to interact with them just as they would another band member.

Our Mission
Voltreus' mission is to bring meaningful music to its fans, help their community, and make their listeners feel like part of the band.
To begin, music is Voltreus' artform and their business product. Their goal is to use their music to relate to their fans' emotions. In doing so, Voltreus wants their listeners to feel heard by the band. Their music is made to reflect the emotional era of the band during the time of writing. This is a major reason why many of their songs have double meanings. Most importantly, Voltreus subscribes to the idea that every song known to man actually has almost 8 billion different meanings, because no two people hear songs exactly the same.
Next, the band's hope is to leave their community better off than it was before, in every situation. Whether it's raising awareness, doing charity drives, or hosting/playing benefit shows, Voltreus wants to show that music can help bring people together for a better cause/bigger purpose. Although, not every show has a charity attachment to it, Voltreus continues to find ways to help through shows, their 'Charity of the Month' page, and their limited time charity based merchandise.
Finally, Voltreus recognizes their fans as part of their success. The hope is for their fans to feel like the 5th Member of the band. That way, fans can recognize that Voltreus' success is directly dependant on their listeners in a similar way that it is for every instrument played.
